For more than 25 years, the pianist Rémi Toulon and the saxophonist Philippe Chagne have been building a rare musical complicity. Between jazz, improvisation and transmission, their journey is rich, coherent and deeply human.
A faithful and creative musical adventure
It was in 1997 that their collaboration began. Together, they create the Take 3 , with which they record five albums and give more than 100 concerts per year for ten years. Their duo continues to reinvent themselves over the course of various projects: song, show young audience, quintet of saxophones, musical comedy ... An eclectic course at the service of a generous music vision.
In 2025, a rereading inspired by Porgy & Bess
Rémi Toulon and Philippe Chagne return to the studio in 2025 for a personal and brilliant version of Porgy & Bess by George Gershwin . On stage, jazz standards, themes of Cedar Walton or Stevie Wonder become so many playgrounds. Their music, bright and lively, transmits a communicative pleasure.
