French-Venezuelan singer and songwriter Elisa Lécuyer is a storyteller of melodies, guided by songs that tell stories. Between transatlantic rhythms, she unfolds with intense energy and great sensitivity, always at the service of the lyrics.

With her debut EP Ouverture, she reconnects with her teenage passion for musical theatre, blending the freedom of jazz with the theatricality of singing characters. She notably revisits Bud Powell's “Bouncin' with Bud,” which she transforms into “Cœur d'antan” with French lyrics.

Surrounded by kindred musicians met over the years, the project captures in one session a fresh, mischievous and deeply personal music.
