”The guitarist and singer Thomas Curbillon takes us to the sound of the organ for a stroll between jazz songs and Groovy themes
To say that Thomas Curbillon has bottled the sound of the trio guitar-organ-batterie is an euphemism as the discs of René Thomas with Eddy Louiss, Kenny Burrell with Jimmy Smith or more recently Peter Bernstein with Larry Goldings, turned in loop on his father's platinum.
As at home therefore and an ideal training for the guitarist and singer who revisits with this new trio, compositions of his first disc "Place Ste Opportune" but also instrumental compositions and all new songs of an upcoming disc. With him two bright and essential musicians of the Parisian jazz scene: the organist Guillaume Naud and the drummer Vincent Frade who do wonders of groove, joyful swing, and poetry.
Thomas Curbillon: guitar & singing
Guillaume Naud: Hammond
Vincent Frade organ: drums
