For their return to Son de la Terre, The Hypnotiks offer you "Memphis Soul Stew", an unmissable nod to this historic city of soul music.

With numerous labels like STAX and Hi Records, not to mention Duke and Peacock Records, this city in the heart of the great Mississippi River has established itself as an essential city for rhythmic music, a true "crossroads" between New Orleans and Chicago.

For this evening, The Hypnotiks – a 7-piece heavy soul band – invites two leading figures of the soul scene, Athena Mawuena and Gabe Zinq, who will each interpret, with their own touch, the giants of Memphis such as Isaac Hayes, Ann Peebles, Al Green, OV Wright and why not Otis Redding!
