Saxophonist, flautist, renowned teacher, but also composer, conductor, arranger, film music writer, or Big Band founder: Pierre Bertrand displays an impressive CV and envelops you at each of his appearances on stage with his colorful, bewitching, unexpected jazz.

Pierre Bertrand & La Caja Negrais a group defined by travel and otherness, bringing together musicians and singers from aesthetics that rarely intersect: jazz and flamenco. Today they play a fusion of jazz and flamenco, born from encounters and mutual enrichment.

Awarded a Victoire du Jazz in 2017 for their album "JOY," La Caja Negra then explored the musical treasures of the Middle East while paying homage to a 20th-century masterpiece: Duke Ellington's "Far East Suite." After several hundred concerts in France and internationally (Europe, South America), the group returns to Son de la Terre to present their new album (2027)!
