”Eastern European and Balkan vocal swing
Serge Camps, a self-taught guitarist and singer, has accompanied, among others, the Roma musicians Ivanovic, Yvan Rebroff, Roby Lakatos, and Angelo Debarre. Frank Anastasio, on double bass, followed a similar path and accompanied the legendary group "Les Yeux Noirs." Pierre Procoudine Gorsky has played with the entire Russian music scene. These musicians tour all over the world.
The three musicians, whose musical influences are rooted in Eastern Europe, came together in 1990 and founded the group Opus4. They primarily played Gypsy music but quickly realized they needed to expand their repertoire to include other styles. Gypsy jazz, French chanson, Serbian, Russian, Hungarian, Romanian, Italian, and American music—they toured the world to appeal to as many people as possible.
It's impossible to stump them when you ask for a
specific song; Opus4 is like a real jukebox—they know everything, sing in many languages in multiple parts, and above all, they know how to get the audience going. They're a cabaret and party music group!
Aurore Voilqué, violinist and singer leading several projects and also touring alongside Thomas Dutronc, will be there to add even more joy and celebration!
