With Refuge, the trio MUNDUS constructs a solid modernist architecture, but with windows left open, somewhere between contemporary jazz, groove, and distant echoes of hip-hop. At the helm: Victor Decamp (trombone and electronic effects), Fabien Ghirotto (drums), and Quentin Préver (Hammond organ).
