The Matthieu Kochersperger Duo is inspired by the great Crooners in the history of jazz (Chet Baker, Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennet…), but also today's guitarists (Pat Metheny, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Gilad Hekselman…). Thus combining tradition and modernity, the sweetness of the voice and the harmonic and rhythmic richness of the duo mingle to offer expressive and subtle music. A large place is left to improvisation and interaction to create a real dialogue between musicians.
