”The eclectic Australian singer and instrumentalist Jody Sternberg presents his project in homage to the American iconic singer Eartha Kitt.
With David Lewis at the trumpet and the musical direction, Cédric Piromalli on the piano, Benoît Dunoyer de Segonzac at La double bass and Patrick godson on drums, Jody Sternberg explores the evocative and playful repertoire of that which Orson Welles described as "the most exciting woman in the world", mixing languages and musical genres ...
Thanks to the original arrangements and compositions of Jody Sternberg and David Lewis, this eclectic repertoire becomes a real musical journey, like the one that interpreted "I want to be evil" and "it's so good" but also "where is my man", one of the hits of the disco wave.
Upon his arrival in France, Jody Sternberg is led to work alongside various artists including the female fanfare Les Pepitas, the marathonians (A Tropical Soul Adventure), Juan Rozoff (Abalorladakor!), Arthur H (White Negress) and Olivier Temime (Streetwise). She is the world tour of the English trip-hop group Morcheeba, replacing the group's singer to promote the album "The Antidote" on which she co-wrote the single "Wonders Never Cease".
She also participates in Marc Collin's projects, Nouvelle Vague and Hollywood Mon Amour.
“Jody Sternberg is a rare bird. Like having experienced ups and downs and having drawn a unique, a little cracked, terribly sincere song. " - Telerama
