Flavio Boltro NextGen

A new jazz super-ensemble that bridges generations, bringing together the immense experience of iconic Italian trumpeter Flavio Boltro with the creative force of three of the most distinctive young voices in today’s Italian jazz scene: pianist Emanuele Filippi, double bassist Michelangelo Scandroglio, and drummer Mattia Galeotti.

All four musicians are active bandleaders, recognized for their individual artistic identities and international careers. Together, they create a sound that is both deeply rooted in the jazz tradition and boldly contemporary, blending melodic lyricism, rhythmic interplay and a forward-thinking improvisational approach.
