Emma Cousineau Septet

”A Quebec voice and six like-minded musicians in jazz, blues and soul mode for a warm, vibrant and energetic evening!
Emmanuèle Cousineau, from the Quebec artistic scene (Montreal), captivates you with her warm and sensitive voice. Blending jazz, blues, and soul, she invites you on a musical journey filled with emotion and spontaneity.
She surrounds herself with like-minded musicians: Bertrand Martin, pianist, composer, and arranger, whose virtuoso and inspired playing navigates from swing to funk, passing through the festive colors of New Orleans; Philippe Rey, a guitarist deeply rooted in the blues, who enriches his musical expression with rock and jazz influences; Rémi Grenier, a bassist with a solid and inventive style, also a songwriter; and Patrick Goujon, a drummer with infectious energy and remarkable versatility. Two special guests complete the lineup: Jérôme Joaille on saxophone and Stéphane Clergerie on trombone.
