The Colombo Kociołek Frontini Trio was born under the impetus of three musicians from the current Parisian scene, Fabrizio  Colombo on bandoneon, Émilie Aridon-Kociołek on piano and Lucas Frontini on double bass, brought together by a fascination for the sound of the emblematic trios of the history of Argentine tango.

In the tradition of Vanguatrio in particular, a 1970s Buenos Aires group, the repertoire here imagined and arranged by Fabrizio Colombo offers a very rich palette of nuances, between a strong tango identity, incursions into jazz and an exceptional display of virtuosity.

This was an opportunity for these three musicians to unite their sound and energies in the magic of the trio sound and to place this offering in the rich and exciting landscape of current instrumental tango.
