For around thirty years and more than 1,500 concerts, André Charlier and Benoît Sourisse have deepened a musical and human relationship of exceptional quality and longevity.

The essential tandem of the French scene “Charlier/Sourisse” has collaborated through their numerous albums with Didier Lockwood, Bireli Lagrene, Philip Catherine, Jerry Bergonzi, Kenny Garrett… In 2017, they created their Multiquarium Big Band (2 albums including the last “Remembering Jaco” released in 2020 received unanimous acclaim from the international press.

At the same time, Louis Winsberg developed his own projects: in 1985 with “Sixun” (10 albums), 1989 “Appassionato”, 1993 “Camino”, 1997 “La Danse du Vent”, his trio “Douce France” in 2007, and “Marseille Marseille” in 2008. And from 2000: “Jaleo”, a multicultural project with which he recorded two albums.

The three musicians met in 2015 to found the trio Charlier/Sourisse/Winsberg.

4 years after their first album “Tales from Michael” they announce the release of the album: “Le Monde à l’envers” A double album like no other…

For this special evening, they invite the singer and improviser Malou Oheix, who began her musical career at the Nantes Conservatory in classical studies as a pianist.
At 18, she decided to continue her studies in pre-professional training in contemporary music which allowed her to obtain a DEM in June 2019.

Passionate about improvisation, she followed a jazz course at the same time and then joined the Jazz School Center des Musiques Didier Lockwood in September 2020. During the summer of 2018, she joined the Nantes group Tribeqa as a bass keyboardist/vocalist. Different collaborations are available to her within the Didier Lockwood school.

In 2022, she is one of the main singers of a major Brazilian project around the music of composer/trumpeter Rubinho Antunes. In 2022, she is invited by the trio Charlier/Sourisse/Winsberg to participate in their double album “Le Monde à l’envers”

In 2023 She participates (as lead singer) in the major Ukrainian project organized by the CMDL with composer/bassist Igor Zakus. In 2023: Concerts in several festivals as guest with the Trio “Charlier/Sourisse/Winsberg”
