
”The Paris - Vallée de la Marne Big Band pays tribute to Duke Pearson!
As part of a "carte blanche" given to the jazz department of the CRD Val Maubuée, in Noisiel, come and experience a musical immersion, from bebop to hard bop!
The evening will open with the "Contrafacts" workshop followed by the "The Sidewinder" workshop, before concluding with the Big Band Paris – Vallée de la Marne paying tribute to the music of pianist Duke Pearson.
Founded in 2016, the Big Band Paris – Vallée de la Marne brings together young musicians from the jazz department of the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Départemental in Noisiel. Led by saxophonist and conductor Frédéric Borey, they share a passion for jazz and the joy of playing together in a large orchestra.
